Alexandra Cooper is the daughter of Bryan Cooper (born August 21, 94) and Laurie Cooper. Her father played hockey in the University of Wisconsin. Boston University's coaching staff recognized her athleticism and offered her a scholarship to play sports. Cooper, who accepted an offer of a Boston University scholarship offer, was a soccer player for the Boston University Division-1's Women's Team throughout her college years.
