Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Sheedy made her debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has performed on WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. She began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Following her success in her first film, she was later seen in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. Though the budget was only $1 million its earnings crossed 50 million dollars. As she worked on the show her first appearance on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. The show was specifically for teens that began airing in April of 1980. The actress also appeared in other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about the superhero X-Men that she appears in as an appearance. Sheedy has won many prizes in 2005 for her work. She also received the an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
